Terms & Conditions
Kalibur Plumbing Services
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of plumbing services by Kalibur Plumbing Services (“we”, “our”, “us”) to the client (“you”, “your”).
By engaging our services, requesting a quote, or accepting our quotation, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and operate subject to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) contained in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
2. Services
Kalibur Plumbing Services provides plumbing services including, but not limited to:

General plumbing maintenance and repairs

Blocked drains and drainage services
-
Leak detection
-
Hot water system installation and replacement
-
Tapware and fixture installations
-
Gas fitting (Natural Gas and LPG)
-
Emergency plumbing services
-
Residential and commercial plumbing works
All services will be performed with reasonable care and skill in accordance with industry standards.
3. Quotes and Estimates
Any quotes provided are based on the information available at the time and may be subject to change if:

The scope of work changes
-
Additional labour or materials are required
-
Unforeseen issues are discovered during the work
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
4. Pricing and Payment
Payment terms may include:

Deposits for certain jobs or installations
-
Progress payments for larger projects
-
Full payment upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed
Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise specified.
We reserve the right to charge reasonable interest on overdue invoices and recover any reasonable costs associated with debt recovery.
Ownership of any supplied materials remains with Kalibur Plumbing Services until full payment is received.
5. Variations
If additional work is required that was not included in the original quote, we will advise you where possible before proceeding. Any variations may incur additional charges.
6. Access and Site Conditions
The client must:

Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area

Ensure pets and hazards are removed from the work area
-
Provide access to necessary utilities where required
If unsafe or hazardous conditions are present, we may suspend work until the issue is resolved.
7. Materials and Products
Kalibur Plumbing Services may supply and install plumbing materials, fixtures, and equipment from trusted manufacturers.
Where the client supplies their own materials or fixtures, we are not responsible for defects, compatibility issues, or warranty claims relating to those products.
8. Warranties
We provide warranties in accordance with:

The Australian Consumer Law, and
-
Any applicable manufacturer warranties on supplied products.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, consumers are entitled to guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill and that goods supplied will be of acceptable quality.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:

Kalibur Plumbing Services will not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

Our liability for services is limited to the cost of rectifying the work or re-supplying the services.
We are not responsible for pre-existing plumbing faults, structural issues, or damage caused by unknown conditions within walls, floors, or underground systems.
10. Emergency Services
Emergency plumbing services may incur additional charges, including:

After-hours call-out fees
-
Weekend or public holiday rates
These fees will be disclosed where possible before work begins.
11. Cancellation
If a confirmed booking is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable cancellation fee to cover scheduling and administrative costs.
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform services where such delay is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

Severe weather

Supply shortages
-
Industrial action
-
Government restrictions
-
Unforeseen site conditions
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
14. Changes to Terms
Kalibur Plumbing Services reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website where applicable.
